Meet the Cast of SHREK
Kevin Bueling
Shrek
Even after thirteen years of doing shows, Kevin still gets nervous about performing. He first appeared on stage at the Shane Center in Les Misérables (2014) as the French Officer. Other past credits include Sir Galahad in Spamalot (2015), Franz Liebchen in The Producers (2014), Patrick Star in SpongeBob the Musical (2023), and, his favorite, Frankenstein’s Monster in Young Frankenstein (2017). Kevin can’t wait to share this story of loving ourselves exactly as we are.
Heather Buck
Fiona
Originally from the Bay Area, California, Heather first joined the Shane Center in Matilda (2023) where she played Miss Honey. Heather’s long list of past credits includes Blanche in Bonnie & Clyde, Guenevere in Camelot, and Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, but her favorite was playing Maria in The Sound of Music on a literal Swiss mountainside. On the rare occasion when she’s not on stage, Heather is a pre-school teacher for The Wildflower School in Bozeman and loves to read (177 books this year!).
Nicholas Bromund
Donkey
Nicholas moved from Washington to Bozeman two years ago, appearing at the Shane Center in Rent (2026) as Tom Collins. This is not his first production of Shrek, previously playing Lord Farquaad. Other past credits include Dr. Frank N. Furter in Rocky Horror Picture Show, Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf in Into the Woods, and Ashley S. Williams in Evil Dead the Musical. He’d like to thank his High School Drama teacher for casting him as Benjamin the Donkey in Animal Farm the Musical.
Devon Johnson
Lord Farquaad
Devon is the Education Outreach Director for the Shane Center, but often finds himself in front of the curtain, most recently in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2025). Other favorite credits include SpongeBob in The SpongeBob Musical (2023), Louie in Sunday in the Park with George (2024), Patsy in Spamalot (2015), and any time he gets to play the accordion on stage. He’d like to thank his brother Matt for introducing him to theatre and his constant encouragement, love, and support.
Kim Moosman
Dragon
Kim grew up just outside of Chicago and has lived in Montana for the past six years, finding herself on stage at the Shane Center as the Madam in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2025). Her most recent favorite performance was singing the National Anthem at the Livingston Roundup Rodeo this past summer on July 2nd. Kim is so excited to be back at the Shane Center getting to sing her heart out. She’d like to thank her husband (as of September 26!), Daniel, for always believing in and loving her.
Oliver Schad
Pinocchio
Sixteen-year-old Oliver first graced the Shane Center stage in a Young Actors’ Workshop production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2018). Favorite past credits include Peter Pan, Grease (2025), Seussical (2022), The Lightning Thief (2026), and most recently Singin’ in the Rain (2026) as Cosmo Brown. Oliver loves playing for the laugh, and he can’t wait to be a part of this hilarious show. Outside of theatre, he enjoys book making, writing poetry, school, and hanging out with friends.
Russell Lewis
Big Bad Wolf
A Missoula native, Russ moved to Livingston in 2001 and became the Artistic Director and founder of the Shane Center. Some of his favorite past credits include the title role in Jekyll & Hyde (2004), Inspector Javert in Les Misérables (2014), and Miss Trunchbull in Matilda (2022). Recently, Russ performed at the Ellen Theatre as Herr Schultz in their production of Cabaret. Spending time with his wife and their two dogs, Mabel and Mavis, at his “farm in progress” keeps him happily grounded.
Scott Denniston
Three Little Pigs
A wonderfully familiar face at the Shane Center, Scott first appeared on stage as Fred in Oklahoma (2015). Other favorite roles include Edward Bloom in Big Fish (2020), King in Big River (2018), and Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady (2025). While Scott often spends much of the winter at the theatre with his family, he spends summers running the Beartooth Café in Cooke City with his wife, Vicki. Scott is very excited to play a little piggy in this production with so many great friends.
Dustin Fanning
Three Little Pigs
Back in the theatre after a brief hiatus, Dustin has been a part of the Shane Center since its inception, appearing in Cats in 2010. His favorite past role was Captain Bracket in South Pacific (2008). Other favorite credits include Unsinkable Molly Brown (2009), Grease (2009), Les Misérables (2009), and too many others to name. Music, theatre, and community are some of the best therapies, and he’s so grateful to come back to them. He’d like to thank Gary Fish for always reminding him to focus on the fun.
Jason Bowker
Three Little Pigs
Jason has loved being a part of shows at the Shane Center ever since his first, Oliver! (2024), and he can’t wait to do this one with his entire family! Favorite past credits include Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Jake Tomlinson in More Fun than Bowling, Cinderella’s Father in Into the Woods, and King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland. When he’s not acting with wife and daughters Mandy, Peyton, and Zoe, Jason is the Pastor at Peace of Christ Community Church in Bozeman.
Milo Stevens
White Rabbit
Milo moved from California to Livingston five years ago and found himself at the Shane Center shortly after in Matilda (2022). Since then, he’s been in as many productions as possible, including The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2025), The Music Man (2023), The SpongeBob Musical (2023), Sunday in the Park with George (2024), and RENT (2026). Outside of the Shane Center, Milo works as a Para Professional at Story Creek Elementary and enjoys Ballroom Dancing.
Rebecca Thomas
Fairy Godmother
Rebecca first came on to the Livingston theatre scene at the Firehouse 5 in Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? (2001). Her first, and favorite, role at the Shane Center was Mrs. Lovette in Sweeney Todd (2012), a dream role with a dream cast. Rebecca works as a Patient Account Specialist at Vista Plains Health in Harlowton. After twenty years with this company, the people at the Shane Center have become family and what keep her coming back even after moving 80 miles away.
Emmanuel Armstrong
Peter Pan
Emmanuel missed his friends and family at the Shane Center during his brief intermission from theatre, and he’s so happy to be back performing with new and old faces. Favorite past credits include Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (2000), Rapunzel’s Prince in Into the Woods (2015), Neville in The Mystery of Edwin Drood (2013), and Doody in Grease (2009). Emmanuel would like to thank his wife Kate and children Juliana and Luke for lending him to the show this fall.
Riley Denniston
Tinker Bell
Riley first appeared at the Shane Center in the Young Actors’ Workshop production of Shrek JR. (2016) ten years ago. She’s so excited to revisit this super fun show with the best cast. Other past credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2024), The Lion King (2025), Grease (2025), Something Rotten (2024), The Lightning Thief (2026), and most recently Singin’ in the Rain as Lina Lamont. In addition to being on stage, Riley loves singing in the Park High Chamber Choir and buffalo sauce.
Mackenna O’Dea
Ugly Duckling
MacKenna recently started her Sophomore year at Montana State University. She couldn’t help but make the commute over the hill to get back to performing at the Shane Center. She first appeared on stage as a Sailor in an Education Outreach production of Treasure Island. Other credits include Jan in Grease (2025), Spitz in Band Geeks (2023), Delta Nu in Legally Blonde (2022), and Shylock in Something Rotten (2024). MacKenna would like to thank her family for always supporting her.
Skye Plumb
Sugar Plum Fairy/Gingy
You may recognize Skye best from the annual Holiday Vaudeville, but she first appeared on stage at the Firehouse 5 as Baby June in Gypsy (2003). In addition to being the Grant Writer for the Shane Center, Skye is the Director of Operations at Working Dogs for Conservation and is a master parallel-parker. Other past theatre credits include Pam in Rent (2026), Cinderella in Into the Woods (2015), and, her favorite, Sibella in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (2018).
Kelly Miller
Wicked Witch
Kelly is so glad her son Hudson, who plays Young Shrek, convinced her to audition. Her first show at the Shane Center was Chicago (2016) as one of the jailcell dancers. Other favorite past credits include Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery where she embraced her inner Gemini by playing seven different characters and Big River (2018), which she got to perform with her other son, Marshall. During the day, Kelly works as a Mobile Crisis Responder for the City of Livingston.
Hannah Petry
Mamma Bear
Hannah is very pleased to get to act opposite the Dewey in this production. She first appeared on the Dulcie stage in the ensemble of The Phantom of the Opera (2012). Other favorite roles include the title character in Evita (2017), Mary Jane in Big River (2018), Ali in Mamma Mia (2019), and a player in the Holiday Vaudeville. Hannah would like to thank her husband Micah and BFF Zoe for encouraging her to audition. Outside of the Shane Center, Hannah is the Choir Director at SGMS and Park High.
Dewey Kemp
Papa Bear
Dewey is the Production Manager for the Shane Center, otherwise known as “The Dewey.” Dewey has been performing in Livingston since the early Firehouse 5 days and built the set and lights for the very first show on the Dulcie stage, Cats (2010). Some favorite past credits include Rooster in Annie (2011), Benny in Rent (2013), Sir Robin in Spamalot (2015), Harry in Company (2017), and Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors (2014). He is delighted to get to share the stage with Hannah in this show.
Peyton Bowker
Baby Bear
Peyton knew it would be a fun experience to do a show with her entire family. Her first performance at the Shane Center was The Wizard of Oz (2023), and she played her favorite role, Teen Elsa, in last winter’s Young Actors’ Workshop, Frozen JR. In addition to multiple Bozeman Children’s Theatre productions, Peyton has also appeared in Oliver! (2024) and The Lion King (2025) at the Shane Center. Peyton loves singing, acting, rock climbing, and hanging out with Irminne.
Logan Burt
Mad Hatter
Logan loves musical theatre and can’t wait for this excellent show, his first at the Shane Center. Favorite past roles include Jason in Ordinary Days, Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Lurch in The Adams Family, Brad in Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Jud Fry in Oklahoma! with the Anchorage Community Theatre and the Lebanon School for Theatre Arts. He recently moved to Montana from Alaska and now works as the General Manager for Gallatin Crossing Mall.
Julia Durgan
Humpty Dumpty
Julia first appeared on stage at the Shane Center in The Music Man (2023) where she played a Pick-a-little Lady, and has since been in My Fair Lady (2025), Oliver! (2024), and The SpongeBob Musical (2023). Her favorite theatre memory was helping with Eliza Doolittle’s quick-change backstage. Julia can’t wait to learn more about acting in this production, and she would like to thank her husband who loves her and encourages her to be courageous always.

Julia Reichert
Shoemaker’s Elf
Julia got her wish of wanting to dance and sing as a fairytale creature in this production. Recent past credits include Bonnie’s Mom in Bonnie & Clyde (2022) and the Angry Woman in My Fair Lady (2024). Most of Julia’s hours at the Shane Center are spent mentoring youth as a tutor at The Learning Center. Outside of the Shane Center, Julia works as farmer at her very own Little Red Hobby Farm. She’d like to thank her son Andrew, who has always been such a joy to watch on stage.
Rachel Roduin
Three Blind Mice/Dragonette
Rachel moved from New Jersey to Montana three years ago and is currently a Civil Engineering graduate student at Montana State University. Favorite past roles include Alice in The Adams Family, her first post-graduate show, Lady of the Lake in Spamalot, and Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof. After a seven-year hiatus from the stage, Rachel is so excited to be back at it. She would like to thank her husband Michael who has come to every performance of hers since they met eight years ago.
Olive Stoner
Three Blind Mice/Dragonette
Olive is a stay-at-home mom, but quite often you’ll find her on stage performing her original songs or acting in a show. She first appeared at the Shane Center as Pearl in The SpongeBob Musical (2023). Other favorite roles include Reno in Anything Goes in Bozeman and Adelaide in Guys & Dolls in Vacaville, California. This show has been on Olive’s theatre bucket-list for a long time. She’d like to thank her amazing wife, Megan, for her support and always reminding her to have fun.
Emma Richards
Three Blind Mice/Dragonette
Ever since moving from Oregon to Bozeman three years ago, Emma has been yearning for a theatre community and can’t wait to make her Shane Center debut. Favorite past credits include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, King John in Robin Hood, Clarissa in Little Women, and performances with The Northwest University Improv Team. Emma works as a Barista at Café M. She’d like to thank her husband, Sterling, for being her number one supporter and listening to the Shrek soundtrack on repeat with her in preparation.
Mandy Bowker
Mamma Ogre
Mandy loves being a part of the Shane Center community, from being on stage (sometimes with her entire family) to being an instructor at the Young Actors’ Workshops. Her first production in the Dulcie Theatre was Matilda (2022) where she played the Cook. Other favorite credits include the Mayor’s Wife in The Music Man (2023) and Widow Corney in Oliver! (2024) at the Shane Center, and Carousel, Camelot, The Pirates of Penzance, La Boheme, and Tosca with Opera Montana.
Robert Hurly
Papa Ogre/Bishop
Robert has never been in a musical, although he did work backstage as a technician for some of his high school theatre shows. He is very excited to sing on stage in front of an audience for the very first time in this production. Robert got his Masters in Economics, and he now works as a Paraeducator at SGMS. He would like to extend his gratitude to the performers and crew of RENT (2026) who made being in a musical look like a ton of fun and something he just had to try.
Hudson Hilman
Young Shrek
Hudson loves theatre and music and can’t wait for this cast to come together to make one big show! Hudson’s first appearance on stage was in an Education Outreach production of Peter Pan. His favorite role came this past summer when he played the King in Snow White (2026). He got to sing his own song! Hudson has also performed in Oliver! (2024), The Lion King (2025), The Wizard of Oz (2023), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2024), and Seussical (2022).
Bob Warwood
King Herold/Captain of the Guard
Bob first got a taste of theatre thirty years ago in his fifth grade production of Macbeth. His first musical, Daisy the Musical (2026) with The Verge Theatre in Bozeman, was the most significant thing he has ever done in life, and now he’s addicted! This is Bob’s first show at the Shane Center, and he adores the story and the message contained in this silly show. Outside of the theatre, Bob works as a self-employed Carpenter and has a lifelong, but yet unrealized, dream of becoming a Drag Queen.
Olivia Herold
Queen Lillian/Bluebird
Olivia can’t wait to be on stage again with friends, especially to do a show she has loved since the first movie came out twenty years ago. Favorite past credits include Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady (2025), West Side Story, Lakme, Guys & Dolls, and many more. Most recently, Olivia appeared at the Ellen Theatre in The Music Man as Alma Hix. During the day, Olivia works as a Medical Assistant at Pure Dermatology. She’d like to thank her amazing, talented, and loving family for supporting her always.
Michael Stevens
Thelonius
For Michael, theatre has become a father-son thing. This will be his third production at the Shane Center with his son, Milo, previously playing Father Dupin in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2025) and Ensemble in My Fair Lady (2025). In fact, before auditions, Milo told him that he would be cast as Thelonius in this show! Michael would like to extend his gratitude to Russ and the Shane Center staff and volunteers for their hard work and endless support with every production.
Irminne Dean
Young Fiona
Eleven-year-old Irminne, or Minne for short, first appeared on stage at the Shane Center in the Summer Young Actors’ Workshop production of Seussical (2022). Minne’s favorite show was The Lion King (2025) where she played Young Nala, her first speaking role and one tied to the best memories. Other recent credits include Hyperia in Snow White (2026) and Young Anna in Frozen (2026). In addition to acting and singing, Minne loves chocolate chip cookies and hanging out with Peyton.
Zoe Bowker
Teen Fiona
Zoe is ecstatic to play this role with an incredible cast and is happy to be back with her Shane Center community. A familiar face in the Bozeman Children’s Theater (BCT), her first show in Livingston was Matilda (2022). Other favorite credits include Princess Anna in Frozen (2026), Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2024), Lion King JR. (2025), and Cady Heron in Mean Girls with BCT. Thirteen-year-old Zoe also enjoys singing in choir and playing the cello.
Andrew Reichert

A longtime member of the Shane Center family, Andrew has participated in most every production on this stage. Some of his favorite past credits include Roger in RENT (2026), Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2025), Clyde Barrow in Bonnie & Clyde (2022), and the entire Dysquith family in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (2018). Offstage, Andrew serves as the Technical Director at the Shane Center and Director of the Teen Theatre productions, keeping the magic running behind the scenes.

Jess Haas

Her first show back with the additional title of “Mom,” Jess finally felt like the timing was right to return to the stage in this production (Hi Wren!). Jess originally heralds from the glaciated prairies of South Dakota, now serving as the Executive Director for a local non-profit. Favorite past credits include Oklahoma! (2018) where she played the best dancer this side of Texas, Lucky Stiff, and Cabaret (2018). Jess can’t wait to be a tap-dancing rat, a dream since the show was announced last year.
Berlynn Johnson

Berlynn has a favorite kind of production to be in; big shows, lots of new friends, and lots of dancing. This one fits the bill! Her first appearance on stage at the Shane Center was The SpongeBob Musical (2023) as a Dancing Fish. Most recently, she played the Coat Vendor in RENT (2026), an unforgettable opportunity and family. A Glassblower by trade, Berlynn opened her own glassblowing shop, Livingston Glassworks, this year! She’d like to thank her loving partner for their unconditional support.
Emma Neal

Ever since RENT (2026) closed, Emma has been craving the opportunity to play again with this community. Getting to perform on the Dulcie and the Ellen Theatre stages for the first time as Alexi Darling this past winter was one of the greatest experiences of her life. When she’s not performing, Emma works as an occupational therapist. She is so grateful to the Shane Center for opening many new creative doors and allowing her to be a part of this community full of lightness and laughter.
Mariana Olsen

Mariana got her start performing with her high school drama program, including productions of Crazy for You and Poe’s Midnight Dreary. Past credits at the Shane Center include Mrs. Higgins’ Maid in My Fair Lady (2025) and a Romani in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2025). When she’s not on stage, Mariana plays the role of Professor in the Department of Psychology at MSU. She’d like to thank her kids for getting her back into theatre and her boyfriend for being her calm in the chaos of life.
Kelsi Fisher

A performer at heart, Kelsi has always wanted to be a part of a musical. Believe it or not, this is her first ever performance on a stage like this! Kelsi is originally from Portland, Oregon and works as a stay-at-home mom. She would like to thank all her friends and family for supporting her and accouraging her to audition. She is so thankful that she decided to try something new and can’t wait to finally tick this item off her bucket list and join in on the fun!
Ashlyn LaRue
Guard
Despite her dislike of public speaking, Ashlyn loves theatre and performing. Making the commute from Big Timber each night to be a part of this production, she spends her days as an assistant at the Two Rivers Gallery and Arts Center. Ashlyn’s favorite past credit, believe it or not, was playing the Pageant Winner in The 2025 Miss Sweet Grass County High Beauty Pageant, a role that felt very opposite to her personality. Other favorite credits include Prince Charming Goes Missing and CSI Wonderland.
Delaney Locke
Guard
Originally from Big Timber, Delaney is now a Bobcat studying at Montana State University. Favorite past credits include Granny Beaver in CSI Wonderland, Almost Treasure Island, and The 2025 Miss Sweet Grass County High Beauty Pageant. Delaney loves music, acting, dancing, and comedies, so it’s quite the surprise that this show marks her first ever musical production! She’d like to thank her high school music and theatre directors for helping her overcome stage fright and discover the fun.
Amelie Waldron
Guard
Back after studying abroad last year, Amelie missed the Shane Center community and is excited to be back on stage performing again. Some favorite past credits include Wendy in Peter Pan (2023), Matilda (2023), the title character in Aladdin (2022), Grease (2025), Something Rotten (2024), and The Musica Man (2023). She is grateful to get to spend time around such great people while doing something she loves. In addition to performing, Amelie enjoys travelling and being in nature.
Xander Becnel
Guard/Knight
A senior at Park High School, Xander enjoys writing original songs, playing the drums, and performing in shows at the Shane Center. Some past credits include The Lion King (2025) as Simba, Something Rotten (2024) as Nigel Bottom, The Wizard of Oz (2023) as the Tin Man, and Grease (2025) as Danny Zucko. His favorite role, however, was Percy Jackson in The Lightning Thief (2026) because it was challenging and pushed him to get so much better at what he loves.
Braylon Windham

Braylon loves this musical and can’t wait to be a part of it but admits that he auditioned mostly because his friends were. Most recently, he played Don Lockwood in the Young Actors’ Workshop production of Singin’ in the Rain JR. (2026), a role that gave him a ton to do and the best costume changes. Other favorite past credits include Grease (2025), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2025), and The Lightning Thief. In addition to theatre, Braylon enjoys singing in the Park High Chamber Choir.
Anderson Chun

Anderson originally grew up in California and moved to Livingston five years ago. He quickly found his community at the Shane Center, participating in the Summer Young Actors’ Workshop production of Seussical (2022). Recent credits include Oliver! (2024), Grease (2025), The Little Mermaid (2025), and his favorite The Lightning Thief (2026) where he appeared as Luke. In addition to being at the Shane Center, Anderson loves going to the gym, skiing, and singing in the Park High Chamber Choir.
Tyler Schad
Guard/Knight
Tyler has loved doing theatre with all of his friends at the Shane Center since his very first Young Actors’ Workshop, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2018). His favorite role was playing Tommy in Matilda (2022), a defining role in his love for theatre. Other favorite credits include Oliver! (2024), Seussical (2022), and Grease (2025). Tyler is fourteen years old and enjoys singing in the Park High Chamber Choir and skiing during the winter.
