Live at the Blake Pavilion: Wylie & the Wild West SHow

  • Shane Lalani Center for the Arts 415 East Lewis Street Livingston, MT, 59047 United States (map)

Saddle up for an evening of authentic Montana music with legendary cowboy entertainer Wylie Gustafson and his band, Wylie & The Wild West. Blending cowboy poetry, folk, swing, country, and signature yodeling, Wylie delivers a high-energy performance rooted deeply in the spirit of the American West.

A fourth-generation Montana rancher and internationally recognized singer/songwriter, Wylie has spent more than three decades touring the globe while staying true to the wide-open landscapes that inspire his music. Backed by Clayton Parsons and Tim Lashley, the band has appeared everywhere from the Grand Ole Opry and MerleFest to A Prairie Home Companion and The Conan O’Brien Show.

Wylie & the Wild West have been performing their run-away horse style cowboy/folk/swing/yodeling to the world since 1989. They play everything from three chords and the truth to two chords and a pack of lies. Wylie Gustafson has recorded 24 albums backed by over 3 decades of performing around the world.  He remains distinct in country music as one of the few authentic voices of the genre.

Equal parts heartfelt, hilarious, and wildly entertaining, this is cowboy music at its finest.

Wylie & the Wild West is generously sponsored by Mighty Fine Time Live Events, Home2Suites by Hilton, Walter & Regina Wunsch - SPECTEC TIC, and Carol Lalani in Memory of Sal Lalani.
